So after two years of having her I finally got around to opening my Saber Lily Golden Caliburn (ITEM #26116).

I brought her direct from GSC in 2013.

The strange thing was I could hear something moving and rattling at the bottom of the box since I had her.

I did not pay much attention at the time because everything looked alright from the outside and I assumed it was instructions or something because I could see all the other parts.

After finally opening her tonight I found the culprit: a 1-inch silver screw at the bottom of the box!

I’m assuming and hoping this isn’t part of the base or Saber?!

Thinking about it, maybe I should have opened her earlier because I dread to think now that it could have been a foot peg rolling about.

What about you? Ever found anything ‘extra’ inside a sealed figure box before?

tanaka5 anos atrás#2822145Would it be possible that it was a temporary measure to hold the figure in place and the 'packer' forgot to replace it with an actual placeholder or something?

I'm not sure I'm following you... :/ One thing is sure though, that part wasn't supposed to be there. It's more like it accidentally fell at the bottom of the box and someone failed to see it when the figure was packed in.

bmyserenity5 anos atrás#2821401It was squeezed underneath the plastic package holding the figure so it couldn't move at all. Senjougahara's base is a bit wobbly and I wonder if it's normal or if it's the plastic part that pushed on it and slightly bent it.. But yeah, it couldn't be heard at all; it's only when I took the figure out of the box that I heard it (and had a slight moment of panic (◍•﹏•) ).

Feels like you have bought a defective figure although it is not the case.
Did you hear any rocking sound of a loose object when you take out the box from the shipping package?

bmyserenity5 anos atrás#2820790That's what I also think but it doesn't make it any less surprising. My heart skipped a beat, I thought the figure was broken or something ( ̄□ ̄)

tanaka5 anos atrás#2820714Probably the plastic part was not discarded properly after the tape ran out and mistakenly being left inside the box during packaging.

bmyserenity5 anos atrás#2820553I found the platic part of a tape inside GSC Senjougahara's box once. I found it very odd and I honestly still don't know what to think about it..
(I'm talking about the plastic circle that the tape is rolled on)

If the figure isn't missing anything, and stands firmly, you shouldn't worry about it.
And to answer your question, nothing in particular yet IMC.

Silver screws are used to ward off vampire handymen.

You'd think it would be for werehandymen, or handywolves, but they always use their nails.
