  • victorviper1 mês atrás#79355341The first few times I used the new camera, I also got much worse results than with my old point and shoot; I think that is sort of a rite of passage.
I just use the stock 18-55 mm lens for 99% of the stuff I do.

My main 'issue'/practice point right now is that I sometimes can't get the focus of the picture on the area I want. Then on the camera screen it seems like I hit the good focus, but when I look at it on the computer I'm like "oh". :P

My stock lens is 16-50, which also for figures gets all the work done (although I do sometimes think about going more macro). Once the outside world is a bit safer again I want to go into nature with the telephoto lens I also have. :)

Maakie1 mês atrás#79313437Sounds very similar to me, I did my upgrade about 8 months ago and only now feel like I got a bit of a routine on how to make decent pictures and how to properly fix the colors. In a bit more time I can probably say I finally surpassed what I could do before. My first few photoshoots with the camera were definitely a blow to my self-esteem as I was getting way worse results than before with my earlier point and shoot. I'm liking all the options I can do now though and have been thinking about investing in a more specific macro lens (or not). It would be super neat to get even more close-up with my figures, but on the other hand, those macro lenses are way higher priced than my original camera package of the camera with two more generic lenses. Do you have a main lens you use now or do you switch a lot during your shoots?
Thank you for letting me know! I left my (pretty long) comment about the figure there! :)

victorviper1 mês atrás#79059061The lighting did turn out well. Also, I upgraded my point and shoot camera to an SLE about a year ago, and I think I'm finally starting to figure out the various nuances of the new camera.
Suomi is definitely a neat figure, and I like Anmi's character design, so I'll definitely try to review her soon.

I would be really interested in a review of Suomi ITEM #761932 . Slightly influenced because I live in Suomi now, but also because it's been a long time since I saw a Funny Knights figure from up close. :)

It might be the good timing for readers to meet Shoujo S again!Maakie1 mês atrás#79044134Man, I really love the background color and overall light in these pictures! :) And another cutie for your 'winter gear with bikini/underwear' collection! :) Love how the hair tangles around the scarf! Too bad the embarrassed faceplate does not have enough blush. :(
Also, it looks like ITEM #604642 could be her big sister! :D
    Thanks for the review!

Every time I post photos of that figure, they seem to get a large number of views, so she might make a good review subject. Since that figure does not have a lower body castoff option, she is not nearly as 18+ as newer 18+ figures, which is kind of interesting.

victorviper2 meses atrás#78977004I've got a ton of reviews started, and I'm debating which one to work on finishing. I'm leaning towards either Skytube's Ayame ITEM #676029, Suomi ITEM #761932, or maybe go in the vault and review Native's Shoujo S ITEM #25420.

sailormatlac2 meses atrás#78977245I was on the fence about this one, glad you made a review. Your pictures capture well the sweetness of her, which is a plus for me. There is a good balance with this one, between naughtiness and innocence.
I'd say Native Shoujo S since you paired her with this one.

That's a good point. She does definitely seem like a sweet, yet slightly naughty, lady.

victorviper2 meses atrás#78977004I kind of wish she could be made to hold the controller of the toy as opposed to having it just sit there on the base, but that's the way it appears in the illustration, I guess.
