What do you think about PMMA figures and their manufacturers? What do you think about PMMA figures and their manufacturers?Review

Have you paid attention to the 3d-printed figures, manufactured by Insight, B'full or Fots Japan? For example, Insight releases lots of characters and each character also has a couple of scale options. In addition, almost all of the characters are naked (don't even cast-offable, they have no clothes at all). Also, I heard that printed figures are very fragile and their owners complain that they don't arrive without breakdowns. So, what do you think about these companies? Maybe you have any figures from them?

The combination of full pvc prizes without any of the sturdiness.

Since everything is 3D printed they can easily make small adjustments, they make it look like they produce a ton of original characters, which is mostly variants.
Meaning they can maximize profit on already existing molds.

It's just link after link after link of broken figures, 3D print lines, nonexistent paint, broken ankles, pieces that don't fit together, etc. etc. ad nauseum. I've got the mock-up in a googledoc, so if you're interested in taking a look feel free to send me a PM. It is enough for me to know that someone is also interested in this issue. I'm wondering if there is a demand for figures from this manufacturer. Because it seems to me that many characters are nothing. And I don't understand at all why they release two absolutely identical figures, which differ a little in their size.

I really want to see one in person just to see how well they hold up in quality. Granted, even then I don't think I'd ever risk buying any, I just don't want to go through the hassle of getting broken figures. It's a shame because I really like a lot of their figure designs.

I own a few from Insight:

Overall, they're decent enough, but quite fragile; particularly on the cast off parts. They're not packaged for long term shipping so anything but DHL/EMS would be pushing your luck.

None of mine have arrived with any damage though you'll find shops like Solaris stating they're not responsible for damage on these particular manufacturers.
