loli/shota items illegal?Comentários • loli/shota items illegal?

There was an article posted here awhile back about someone getting arrested in Canada for owning explicit and graphic (cartoon) imagery involving minors. But I can't remember if that was the sole offense or related to other actions the individual made. I'll see if I can find the article again.

Edit: Found it - BLOG #22187. It's four years old so I'm not sure if any laws have changed in the meantime.

Honestly I don't know what the exact laws would be regarding this, other than the UN was considering banning loli content.for this reason the loli tag and similar tags are far less common, but I've not heard of anything being properly enforced by police. Even if it were outright illegal there isn't a very practical way to eradicate this type of content.

Hope this was a bit helpful :3

I'm not entirely sure about the US and Canada and haven't really looked into it all that much since I don't watch that kind of stuff so it doesn't really concern me however I know that in most western countries child pornography laws also cover drawings, paintings, cartoons and animation of child characters in sexually explicit scenarios so that should include a lot of loli/shota content.

There was a blog post about this topic a while ago on which people who collect these things commented that they've never had any issues and that while it is technically illegal they are still sold at cons and shops without restrictions and customs offices usually don't seem to care either.

Take this with a grain of salt since I don't have any first hand experience and just really wrote down what I've read here and there.
