    The Wo-Class nendo was over $100 for a while, but that was due to it being an exclusive. (it has lights up, which is super cool) But I think the most expensive nendo I've seen has to be the Ahri one from League of Legends as you could only get it at Worlds that year if memory serves.

    Carousel3 anos atrás#24471794Also, if something is a standard release, why should they be treated as limited items? As far as I'm concerned standard releases should not have to be preordered at all. They should be able to be purchased at MSRP for a while after their initial release. The preorder culture is what is making everything "limited", even when it's not.I'm really glad that some figures get another production run, I hope it happens more often. :)

    I get how you feel about the PO culture of collecting, but manufacturers/retailers do it so they can avoid taking a major loss. It is also a marketing tactic, to hype up the product and get people to buy. Otherwise, if it is readily available for awhile, then why not just wait to buy it? A buyer that waits might change their mind. But mostly I just wonder if the figure company will go bankrupt if they make too much stock, since guessing the market is hard. They may have to charge more money per figure to avoid a loss, but then it's like, maybe no one will buy it at all if it costs too much. I dunno, but I can see some issues with just doing away with PO altogether.

    In this world "standard" means there isn't exactly a set order cap, and most retailers can sell the item. :/

    Reiichiru3 anos atrás#24454490I've been curious for a while; his page doesn't say he's limited or exclusive. Did they say somewhere that they wouldn't rerelease?
    I'm personally imagining him and/or Bakugo getting rereleases when they add more to their line (like Rem from Re:zero). Is this so unlikely? owo

    They haven't really said anything, but I would like to believe that the bnha nendos will be rereleased as more of them are (hopefully) announced. GSC tend to be more likely to rerelease nendos more than scales, so with luck we should see Deku and Bakugo on the market again.

    Most expensive on pre-order? One of the KanColle nendoroids come to my mind, they come with their bulky ship thingoes. Or Champion ver. Red.

    Most expensive aftermarket I wouldn't even know tbh. But the most expensive I wanted but don't have is probably Red. The most expensive I own are probably my Nichijou nendoroids. I paid 7k for an opened Hakase (yikes) and AU50 for a very loved Nano. Nothing a bit of cleaning couldn't fix.

    Also, I've seen some of the Touken Ranbu nendoroids skyrocket in price on Mandarake, but on MFC they're only a bit more expensive than retail. I find that pretty interesting.

    SageGuy3 anos atrás#24470498All figures (including nendoroids) should be considered limited in quantity. And I don't understand why people think everything will get a re release nowadays. It's honestly rather annoying to see people constantly begging for re releases.

    Because everything is getting a rerelease nowadays. Look at the Bungo Stray Dogs Nendoroids. They also spiraled out of control in the after market. As did the Pokemon Red Nendoroid. These were all given rereleases to counteract the prices. Which is a good thing. (Though Red could be argued as he was an Exclusive).

    The most I've spent at po was ITEM #464558. Bought at GSC at full price for the bonus so somewhere around $90 usd if you couple their flat shipping fee into the mix.

    Yes I'm crazy and spent that much on a series I do not play nor watch. I just really liked the american pinup idea they had going on.

    Aftermarket wise i know the nichijou nendoroids both go for about 10,000yen each pretty regularly probably because they don't have much other merch! i've been wanting them for so long but I can't justify 20,000yen + shipping for 2 nendos, i should have preordered ;_;
