kuriko4442 anos atrás#28470951I am in need of some suggestions for shelving that is similar to the Ikea detof or glass shelving. The problem I face is that in my state there are no IKEAs and I've tried looking amongest other shops to find nothing close. I have everything from nendoriods to 1/7 scale figures /

I found some at my local Daiso for $5 for a small case that could probably fit a couple Nendos. As far as big figures, I would also recommend checking out thrift shops or online. Sorry, im trying to figure out how to house the big ones too ;-;

Have you tried thrift stores like Good Will, Salvation Army or Habitat for Humanity Restore. I have fount some really nice glass cabinets at places like those for cheap. some just need a good cleaning before you use them.

Is the head of this figure removable? or it's glued on? can you check if there is a place where the head and the figure connect?

Koreantacos7 anos atrás#1415532I'm having a constant battle with the worst things my figures must face. Dust. I'm using that canned air stuff you use for computers, but it's a little pricey for me. Is there a cheaper method I could do?

I use a photography lens blower to clean my figures; it has a brush attachment too and it means I don't have to buy keep on buying canned air.

Personally i use dry paintbrushes for all my figures, it takes a damn long time with the amount i have but it seems to be working for me.
Obviously you want soft brushes because you wouldn't want to risk scratching any of them, but if you get brushes that are soft with small heads (i bought a variety of sizes) you can pretty much reach anywhere on a figure and provided you're careful they won't break.

I've never risked it with canned air tbh, with figures being made of a pvc plastic for the most part i always have the fear that i'll make the pvc brittle by using it, or break something with the pressure from the air in the can.

Only just realised you posted this a year ago......... ah well XD
hopefully someone will read it and find it useful <3

abi8 anos atrás#1132689Hi, I was wondering if this article can be linked to this club: BLOG #4254, it seems this club tends to not be very active ^^'... I remember someone asking about keeping figures in the bathroom somewhere else,

Ha that was probs me :-/ and I got no answers so I asked here. I removed them as your probably right and the paint is really good on these so would be a shame to ruin them!
Shame as bathrooms need a bit of cheering up and if your a bath taker like me its nice to have things to look at ^_^ Too small for a cabinet though had to be shelves fixed to the wall.
