So it’s OK to add Kadokawa Taiwan Media again as the manufacture? I can add the note on the further info box.

AS long as the goods item is of japanese origin then it should be fine.

KiraYamato44 (8 dias atrás) #45193474It was for goods. A pass case. It’s the Taiwan release of a BL series series of Japanese origin. I was confused as to why it was removed since we have Taiwan manga companies on the board with goods from different BL series. The BL series is released by Libre however they don’t have an overseas office so it was licensed to Kadokawa Taiwan. We have non Japanese complains as well in the board like grestceastern entertainment which has items from anime series so isn’t this treated as the same thing since the origin of the BL comic is Japanese?

BloodFlower (8 dias atrás) #45191746The comic is not allowed due to being a non-Japanese release (i.e. it's not published in Japan). All media entries must have both a Japanese origin and be a japanese release.
Your text does not make it clear if it was a media item or a goods item but here goes;
Media entries are only allowed if they've a Japanese origin and are a Japanese release (i.e. published in Japan).
If it's goods then only a japanese origin is needed.
Kadokawa Taiwan is not treated as Kadokawa Japan and therefore is a non-Japanese manufacturer. This applies to all outside of Japan branches of Japanese companies. Hence why some Yamato US and Bandai US keeps getting removed everytime someone tries to add them.
I'm not familiar with the origin itself so I can't say why it would've been treated as non-Japanese.

Hiya!

I was wondering if a MOD can answer a quick question for me. I recently added a bonus with the Taiwan release of an artbook (they are releasing the title under their company since it’s the Taiwan release of libres title). It was deleted under the non Japanese company / Non Japanese origin, but the company is Kadokawa media (Taiwan) it’s Kadokawa’s publishing branch in Taiwan. We have other Taiwan publishers on the database listed w their goods, so I’m confused as to why this item was deleted. The origin is Hidoku Shinaide which is of Japanese origin.

Thank you in advance.

I think it's not allowed, but just wanted to doublecheck (as I like to have my complete collection on this website, as far as possible):

It's about a comic book that I would like to add here:
Origin and character designs: Japanese
Publisher: USA-based
Artist and writer: European

I guess not allowed, although the origin and characters are Japanese?

BloodFlower (19 dias atrás) #44401832If I remember correctly, those are listed as elfuun because they are marketed as such. I think elfuun was a popular character in the anime for a while and substitute was it's signature move or something like that and therefore a lot of substitute merchandise was sold as elfuun. Any item that's only marketed as substitute should not be under that Pokémon though.
Ooh I see, thank you for clarifying!

noctisity (21 dias atrás) #44317003I wasn't sure if I should have made an alert since the items below were uploaded by several different users but all have the same issue where the Character is incorrectly listed as Elfuun ENTRY #37554:
ITEM #350679
ITEM #342274
ITEM #342273
ITEM #342270
ITEM #324092
ITEM #143663
Based on other Substitute browse.v4.php?v... merchandise in the database, it looks like those items shouldn't have any character listed at all (if no Pokemon is present). Instead, the identifying feature of the merchandise should be under Version which states Substitute instead (like this item for example: ITEM #430298).
