Just got mine from CD Japan! It is thinner than I was expecting but every single page is in full colour and the page quality is great, quite thick paper and with a nice sheen to them, almost glossy.
Not to mention the artwork, which is stunning! Most of it seems to be either cover artwork or colour pages from the manga but a few images seem to be for promotional purposes.

If you're an Ace of Diamond fan I would 100% recommend picking this up, even If you can't read Japanese I wouldn't worry in the slightest as this book is ALL about the Art! (I can't see any spoilers either to my knowledge, apart from a couple of characters from rival teams who we haven't met yet in the anime)

At only 580 JPY ($4.85/£3.26) this is an absolute steal for the quality! Now I'm seriously contemplating picking up some of the tankobon volumes to to further support this brilliant series!

JustSomebody5 anos atrás#2536963Yes it is disappointing. I wished for better compositions to be choosen for this artbook, since theere are so many good ones out there, but they still didn't pick the nicest ones in my oppinion. Also I wanted to see more of Miyuki... He's such a strong leading character.
Speaking of end cards. I didn't even knew that they were called that. I've learned something new. Do you know who made the end card from episode 61? Was it the mangaka of Ace no Diamond or was it the animation team or maybe a fan? I've still not read the manga doe to lack of time and I'm only watching the anime, so I don't know how the artwork in the manga looks like.

Just got mine today as well and yeah, kind of disappointing. And yeah, more Miyuki!!!

I didn't know those were called end cards either! Learnt something new as well. I didn't read the manga as well, also due to lack of time.

I wish they also included more end cards used in the anime. They did include one of the really cute ones though.

JustSomebody5 anos atrás#2501633It's defintely not as good. The book is small as a japanese manga and very very slim. The info about 64 pages is right, although for me it even looks like it has something like 40 pages... The pictures inside are nice but nothing out of this world. If you ask me this one cost to much for that what you receive, especially since the Tokyo Ghoul illustration book is 2 times as thick as this one and costs just the same.
