LivingDaylight (2 anos atrás) #16790303It simple actually: don't like - don't buy.
Figure prices had risen two years ago, but you only noticed it today? lol
I'm gonna put him on stand by because there will be a lot of items I wanted more released in first half of 2017, but definitely gonna have him later.
I like how he turned out, glad they made arms removable and serious face is good.

Actually, this sort of perspective is unfair, especially to collectors in places like Europe or South America or heaven forbid somewhere else with terrible shipping fees and custom taxes. I'm new to the collecting scene, but it's not as if I don't see the dramatic increase of scales and Nendos from 2008 to now, especially since I've been collecting older figures. In the past, even people with moderate incomes were able to enjoy collecting, and everyone has their own needs. If the price of a figure must increase, the quality and number of accessories should at least match the MSRP to make it justifiable to anyone's wallet. First world problems, but at what point is a figure--especially one you like--too expensive to justify? 8k? 10k? 12k yen?

I'll definitely pick up Kacchan later on, but just because you personally follow the don't like-don't buy policy doesn't mean that everyone else has the same mindset. People are having to quit the hobby left and right because price hikes are spiraling out of control; I don't think that's good for an enthusiast community at all.

This prices for nendos is getting ridiculous. He comes with a couple of extra hands, little exchangeable hair part, a plate and a fire effect. And for that they want nearly 5k. I am glad I only have 3 nendos to go. GSC is starting to get insane.

Adori (há 12 horas) #48459055MFC SALES AD NOTICE
Okie-dokie friends, after a lot'a feedback--both private and public--I've finally reached a conclusion!
The ad will go live on FRIDAY (1/18/19) @ 10PM EST with the following details:
- 1st Edition
- Brand New/Sealed in Box
- Selling for $80, Shipping/Fees Included*
- First Come, First Served + Paypal Invoice only!!!**
- USA only!!!

I'll update this post with the sales link when it's live, so thank you for your time, and good luck~!!!
*Price Reasoning: $55(what I paid) + $13(profit) + ~$12(shipping/fees) = $80; of course, if the shipping/fees is more expensive than that, then I'll just lose out on profit haha. ( ^ v ^;)
**A Paypal invoice is basically just paying by Goods & Services, but fancier! (You MUST have a Paypal account with an up-to-date address!!!) For fairness, you'll have exactly 24 HOURS to pay upon receiving the invoice, otherwise you'll forfeit your place and the item will go to the next buyer on line!

Great price for those who want him. Hope it doesn't go to a scalper!

Honestly I think you should put it on ebay for what you paid and let people decide what he's worth to them. Figures are worth what people pay for them or what a manufacturer sells it for.
Ultimately it's up to you.

As much as I hate the current price he goes for these days, I agree with maggie. Let others decide how much they're willing to pay for it on eBay. Also, it would really suck if you sold it to someone for a low price and they turned out to be a scalper. >_>

I see!!! To be completely honest with you, selling on eBay is probably the most business savvy thing to do, but I'm hesitant for a coupl'a reasons...

A small part of it is 'cause I'm kinda dumb and slightly intimidated by how complicated the platform seems haha, but the main reason why I'm reluctant is 'cause listing him on there is a surefire way to get the price skyrocketing, which is the opposite of what I want!!!

Both of ya speak the hard truth about value and I really appreciate that(!), but I'm more fair than smart unfortunately, so up on MFC he goes!

Thank you for the advice, especially on taking quality photos! I'll be sure to do that when the time comes~

Heh I don’t think scalpers shop for popular items on eBay to resell XD

Just a note to the OP: post the auction with lots of photos and make sure people know it’s authentic, not this “china version” ridiculousness I see selling on eBay to the uninformed for $50+.

After debating for a bit, I've come to the conclusion that owning something I'm never gonna play with is a li'l silly, so I'm throwing my Bakugou up for sale!
I'll be making an official ad sometime next week, but I'd like some help first on deciding a reasonable price for him! (Most of the numbers I've seen are ridiculously high and I'm just...not about that haha.)
The details are as follows:
- 1st Edition (meaning he's on-hand and ready to ship!)
- Brand New/Sealed in Box
- USA only! (unless, of course, you're willing to help walk me through the process and pay exorbitant shipping fees :'))
So, knowing all'a that, what do you guys think is a good price range?
Please don't hesitate to share your thoughts, and thank you in advance!!!

I would be very interested if Bakugo goes up and I can see The price you paid + $15 + Shipping/fees = final price
