I just wish people would take the next logical step from "balloon boobs" and start calling them "balloobs".

I think that's on-purpose to keep the axe secure.

WellMedicated (17 dias atrás) #31069625Replying a bit late, but: I knew about the hole from the start and I could get the axe to stay in place relatively well without problems, it's just that the orientation of the axe wasn't exactly what it's supposed to be compared to the box pics, promo pics and also to some other people's retail figures (though it seems that I'm not alone with the axe problem). It was (and still is) impossible to get the tip of the axe into the hole and the other end of the handle into her palm, and still have the axe lean exactly in what seems to have been the intended angle. In the end I decided that I'd just live with it as it wasn't a huge problem and apparently other people who had this problem and contacted GSC about it got a reply that it's not a significant enough fault that they'd offer an replacement.
But now that a few months have passed the axe grip has got very loose, seems that handle of the axe pushed her hand hard enough that over time it slowly bent a bit upwards. Now it's like she's holding the axe with just her thumb and index fingers instead of in her palm, and I cannot move or rotate the base even the slightest bit without the axe falling off. :\
Also some people said they had to bend her right foot so much to get the figure to fit its base that it looks that she's got a broken leg. I guess I might've had this problem too, but not a severe enough case to make her foot look too bent to the side/front to me... or maybe it's just a bit subjective... seems that her high boots kinda hide how exactly her legs are oriented from the knees down anyway, and I think her pose might still be within the limits of how human limbs work.
I was actually thinking about making another very small hole on the base myself to get the axe to stay in a better looking (and apparently more correct) position but I was a bit worried about maybe screwing up somehow when adding the hole so I didn't attempt that (also I have no idea how a modified base would affect resale value, though I probably won't ever be selling unless something really unexpected comes up). I think it could have even prevented the hand from bending upwards since the handle would have been more at an angle (like it seems supposed to be) instead of pointing almost straight up (and what very slight angle there was was to the wrong direction...). Maybe I will add the hole if I try bending the hand back down a bit at some point. Or maybe I could try to 3d print a custom base for the figure somewhere? With a custom base I could even change the location where her right foot goes a bit if it starts actually bothering me. Will be probably difficult to make it a good looking one though... that would require some artistic painting skills I think.
Oh well, at least it's still a very nice looking figure even with the little problems, though honestly I actually wish her breasts were just a little bit smaller (but of course not too much smaller), or at least just a little bit more affected by gravity. She would actually be hotter for me that way, a bit more realistic or believable but still well endowed and sexy. If you look at Camilla's ingame 2d art from FE Fates you see they didn't go quite as overboard with her breasts there. Official FE Heroes art is a different matter though so maybe she just decided to start using a push-up bra at some point?
Not like she needed one, but ehh, whatever.

Someone told me it’s possible to heat parts of a figure to reposition them. Maybe you can do that to move her hand. Adding a small hole to the base won’t hurt the resale value too much. If the figure itself is in tact and the base isn’t crazy defigueed, you’ll be good. People sell figures that miss parts for a reduced price so this should be ok.

I definitely agree that they should’ve kept FE Fates’ style. These are completely crazy (still a gorgeous figure)

Mila137 (4 meses atrás) #27287339There's a very small hole in the base for her axe (I had to feel around with my finger for it). Be sure to put the tip of it in there and then put the handle into her hand. It worked out for me that way.
