I had that same problem too. The trick is to not connect it all the way and leave it slightly loose (but not too loose where it falls off). That way, the bamboo covers her mouth. If you do connect it all the way, the bamboo goes below her mouth. Hopefully I explained that well enough, I can send pictures if it helps better.

So I got mine today from Goodsmile (ordered in stock) and I'm having the same problem with her bamboo piece not covering her mouth. Have any of you found a fix for it or did you contact Goodsmile, something else maybe? I thought about taking a hairdryer to it but ehhhh I'm not sure
