I wouldn't pay $100 dollars for it. L's face looks really off, specially the eyes.

freshringo10 meses atrás#67391826If anyone is thinking of preordering, I implore you to take a look at the comments on their previous figure ITEM #569393 - the customer experience and communication was pretty bad. As someone who got their previous figure, I'd definitely think long and hard before doing business with Oniri again.

It's depend on the country. My friend receive her ad she is perfect (finishes, etc...)
Personnally I order Edward and the communication with them was very fast, and they help me immediately.

I think the criticism I’ve read so far has been made with little acknowledgement of the logistics that must be considered when making a piece like this. This was sculpted relative to the companion piece that has already been made as the likely buyers of this piece have already justified purchasing Light and Ryuk. With that in mind, it’s important to remember that this piece will likely be on display next to Light and Ryuk, which is why companies that release a line of statues/dioramas will often keep the scale consistent for the sake of aesthetic congruence. There is a justifiable argument for sculpting and selling a standalone L; however, it won’t cost very much and is likely unfeasible for a company that does limited runs like this. If another character is included alongside L, Watari is the only reasonable additon. He raised L, he functions as the public image of L until L makes himself publicly known, and remains his right hand man throughout the series. The scene that is depicted here is frequently referenced in the manga and anime. Any other character wouldn’t be fitting unless it’s Light himself which would make the diorama partially redundant and less appealing of a purchase. I’m going to reserve criticism for the sculpt until I see a painted version because the shadows on L’s face will make the difference between whether he shares enough similarity with his 2-D source material or not. Watari is fine, and will look excellent if painted well. The composition itself will depend on the colors used for the giant L decoration and the objects on the floor. This piece runs the risk of being cluttered and silly, but if tastefully painted could be an excellent depiction of L’s likeness. Remember, this anime is a psychological drama, it is not Attack on Titan. Any representation of the characters that doesn’t fit the canonical narrative; for example, an outlandish action scene that never happened, won’t be relatable to the people that fell in love with the manga/anime. This is why Rem’s inclusion wouldn’t work, nor would that of any other characters. If we want a dynamic piece in the future we can keep our fingers crossed for one that depicts Soichiro Yagami with the Shinigami eyes shooting at Mello’s men as Mello escapes during the explosion. Otherwise, static pieces like this make the most sense and will also look the best on display.

I uploaded a pic of the side. I had found more earlier but I can’t find the link anymore. The overall sculpt is really nice especially the chair and the insignia(?) I guess it’s supposed to be? Is really nice but honestly, L in his chair with just that behind him would’ve been fine. L’s sculpt is very nice except the face and all of Watari is a mess. And I see the theme here of Ryuk is the one standing behind Light so Watari is the one behind L but I so think a statue of Light and L together would’ve been way way better. If they wanted to go with L in his signature chair it could’ve been him and Light sitting at a table playing a match of chess or something which could metaphorically show the the two main geniuses and the spirit of how they interact with each other (a battle of wits). Idk I guess I’m just disappointed. And 1/6 scale....right. Looking at some of the pics with Light/Ryuk behind them they look much much smaller in scale, even Watari who is standing. Idk I want to like this but I’m just baffled by the choices here. There should be like ten different scales to choose from of Light/L and we have one...which is also overpriced but at least L looks good in that one, but Light not so much :/
