mbsvet (5 dias atrás) #28604865That's some pretty mild taste there; this is far from wild for Fate, let alone anime in general. Compare that to bondage-themed stuff like this ITEM #331813 or whatever the heck this is ITEM #154715. Bodacious boobies and what I assume to be a historical reference (she did have some people staked, I guess) aside it's just a nice dress.

Oh I totally get what you mean tho - this is standard anime style, yes. But what I'm getting at is that anime should maybe cool its jets sometimes XD

Basically, her outfit to me looks too busy. There are lots of little details that I just don't know why they have to be there. It's a bit like when an artist doesn't know when to stop with a piece, and when they keep adding and adding to it it just becomes...a mess.

I think it's the ruffles/trim that bother me, mostly. I guess this just kind of strays a bit too far from what I know and expect of a dress like this; historically and realistically. Basically, the design of it is just..strange. I can't imagine a seamstress would have fun with it, lol.

I mean, I can definitely get behind a sexy black dress with gold trim and large skirt (idk what you call that part of a dress). But this is just maybe too "over the top anime design" for me. Maybe I do have mild taste, but eh.

It would honestly be fine with me if she just had stakes in her hands. That's kind of cool, even. HOWEVer. WHY is there a piece of cloth that connects between her hands and the stakes????????? HOW DOES THIS LADY MOVE HER ARMS. The cloth being there is impractical and awkward as heck. I feel like if she was trying to move fast, or into a slightly complex pose, she'd be hitting herself in the face with that piece of cloth a good 80% of the time, lmao.

Anyway, sorry for rambling. I do genuinely enjoy other aspects of this figure, as mentioned before, though. Tbh I would buy the heck out of this figure if everything else was the same but she just got a (nicer) costume change.

I love her face and expression, her hair, the elf ears, the pose (especially the way her hands are posed), but this outfit design is just too bloody wild for me, lol

Also, can someone tell me why the heck she's got a stake through her hand? Soz, as if it's not obvious I'm not exactly a Fate fan. But I do appreciate the figures on an aesthetic basis. And I really like the look of this character except for her crazy weird dress...
