Rhysand (1 mês atrás) #46142281Hi may I know, what are those transparent stands to make your figures taller? Idk how to say it but the stands that are increasing the height of figures at the back so it doesn’t look too clustered

I'm not 100% sure tho but I get them from eBay and Amiami. Amiami has them under "premium parts base" and on eBay I just look them up as acrylic stands.

Akatsukiwannabe (1 mês atrás) #45525490Beautiful collection! May I ask what kind of lights you are using?? It's always cool to see the different routes people take display wise!Akibashii (1 mês atrás) #45526638Hello, great collection you've got there.
Could you by any chance share a picture of how you attached the led stripes and managed the cabels?
Cause I still struggle with my leds...
Tinkia (1 mês atrás) #45545221I'm curious about this as well. It looks really good!

I'm a total noob when it comes to this so bear with me... I hope I'm doing (replying) this correctly... I use LIFX Z lightstrip which has adhesive on the back of the strips. They are pretty expensive but totally worth it! The trick is buying the 9.9' for $100 instead of the 6.6' that costs you $90. If you still think it's overpriced you can get them on Black Friday for $80. You get more for the price of the 6.6'. As for how I set them up I have other photos where you can see the lights tucked under the display. I have a total of 3 lights (controllers) and I added their extension kit to them. It saves me from having too many controllers and wires. I would link the photos but I suck at this.

edit: I avoid gluing the extension connecting to the next display, so that I can move them with ease. It's noticeable on my previous photos.

MindySue (1 mês atrás) #45484001Wow, your collection is go gorgeous :o Do you have a favorite figure, or favorite shelf?

Thank you! It would have to be my Miyazono Kaori from Aniplex. It took me a while to find her and she was my first expensive figure lol But my favorite shelf is my wing ladies (Madoka / Neptune).

Tiamat26 (1 mês atrás) #45483029Personally you do your set up like I prefer seeing. You have matching characters together. You have themes together and that is just perfect. At least in my opinion. I did an article a while back about thinking it would take me a weekend to clean and change my entire display. We are a month past that article and I still have not finished the entire re design of the collection.
Great pic and nice collection.
= )

Thanks! Someone actually noticed xD I wanted to try something different from some of the other collections I've seen. Thanks again, love!
