noctisity (8 meses atrás) #29982547View spoilerHide spoilerSince the i7 figures are just prize figures, I guess I should have expected some issues with assembly, but it makes me feel a little better that it was a common issue.
MFC doesn't require your birthday but the format is kind of weird. I'd prefer people not know how old I am just from coming across my profile. But I wouldn't mind showing which day I was born. But that isn't an option since it requires you either have the full date or nothing at all. It doesn't look like there's any way to get rid of notifications unless you choose not to add your birthday to MFC.
Oh nice! I play OW too, though not very consistently. (Still haven't touched the winter event yet. OTL) I'm also waiting for a Zenyatta nendoroid. A Junkrat one would look so cute too because he's such an expressive character. I hope the popularity of the figures allows GSC to keep making more so they eventually get around to less popular characters. I was surprised D.Va wasn't one of the first nendoroids made, but I was kind of disappointed to see what they did to her MEKA. I guess it would have cost too much? But they could have done something similar to what they did for the Robobo Planet Kirby suit ITEM #638971 and have a version with and without the MEKA.

I've been trying to stop myself from buying prize figures but it's hard when there aren't many male scales of the characters I like, so I just end up with loads and loads of Prize figures. Eventually I will get a couple of my grail Gintama figures, but for now I have like 4 prize and a ton of trading figures. >.>

And yeah, I can agree with that. I'd rather not show my age and just show my b-day, but they only seem to allow full b-day or age =/ Maybe they can add that update some time...cuz I know not everyone wants to show their age on their online profiles. ~_~

The new Yeti hunting event is super fun!!! The Winston players have already gotten a loooot better though, so it's a tad rough if you're not in voice chat with the other Meis. My group of friends has already discovered that even though you're grouped, it doesn't mean one of you can't be the Yeti though. >.> My friend Adam absolutely destroyed me despite my "It's my birthday!!!" pleas. ;__;

I hope they make more statues/figures of Overwatch characters. I don't mind if Blizzard goes all out and uses magnets to make an actual floating Zenyatta. I'll pay some sick cash for that. >.>

I also agree that they should have had a fancy edition of D.Va where you pay double or triple the normal price, but she comes with MEKA. It would be so cool to have her hanging out in there. I wonder if they'd be able to actually fit her inside, or would they make you take her legs off and attach her upper torso to a peg inside the cockpit...Either way it would have been super cool.

Btw, do you have line or skype? If so I'd love to add you to make chatting even easier XD If you do have one of them (or some other easier way to chat than this lol) please shoot a PM my way with your username so I can add you :D

heroizumi (8 meses atrás) #29871219View spoilerHide spoilerI had problems getting the ears on both Tamaki and Yamato. D: The pegs for them were terribly made so they didn't seem to fit in well. The floppy ear on Tamaki went in fine but the straight ears were annoying on both figures.
And lol! Thanks XDD Yeah I think I wished someone a happy birthday 2 days early before XD I wish it just displayed your b-day if you wanted it to be displayed, lol. It requires you to have a b-day cuz of the 18+ content, but doesn't make it possible to hide those announcements (I think???)
For PC I play a fair few cheap steam otome games, but most of my playing ends up being western style RPGs (like Skyrim and Destiny2) and Overwatch. I wait patiently for more nendoroids of more of my Overwatch favorites. They put out one of my faves (Mercy) but it will probably be a while til any more of my favorites because they're not cute girls. XD (Zenyatta, Junkrat, and Zarya)

noctisity (8 meses atrás) #29853475View spoilerHide spoilerThank you for letting me know! And yeah, they’re really cute! I'm tempted to remove the chain/metal hook part but then I like hanging them up too lol. (Just wondering, did you have any issues trying to get the rabbit ears to stay on your Tamaki prize figure? I can't tell if mine was just being difficult or it was a common issue. I was so worried about snapping the ear by accident. OTL)
Whoops, I always forgot MFC's birthday notifications are super off. Well happy (actual) birthday (again)! LOL \o/
Yeah the home versions of DDR just don't feel the same since the mat can be pretty slippery. I still see them in some old American arcades once in awhile, but I'm surprised they have faded from Japan. I guess since they come out with so many new game every year.
The only games I see coming out on Vita outside of Japan are visual novels/otome games or remakes from other consoles. I was looking at a list of bestsellers on the Vita and was surprised most of them aren't actually Vita-exclusive games.
What sort of games do you play on PC? I tend to play mostly otome games on my phone (with some random stuff like Animal Crossing and Neko Atsume) but definitely prefer a larger screen for my games. I know a few people who play otome games on their Vita during lunch lol.

heroizumi (8 meses atrás) #29818059View spoilerHide spoilerI just got the Idolish7 little sweets thingies!! They're adorable ;__; ahhhh~ I put them on my shelf next to my Yamato and Tamaki prize figures, ehehehe.
Also thank you~ My birthday is actually tomorrow but MFC is dumb and sent out announcements at midnight last night XD Not sure why, haha. Hoo boy I am gettin old. ~_~
I remember ages ago when a lot of the local anime conventions had DDR contests, lol. I miss that game. Hardly anyone in Japan plays it anymore, but it's still super popular here. I wish there were more rhythm games in the USA. They're best at arcades because you can have such large machines. I always feel like the home versions aren't as fun unless you have the arcade quality stuff (like one of the full metal dance pads rather than a crappy dance mat, etc).
Also I have no idea about more portable stuff coming out of Sony. I'm wondering if they're holding back on it because of how poorly the Vita did outside of Japan. I don't think there are any games coming out for it other than in Japan at this point. Nintendo kind of has the market cornered for portable gaming outside of Japan. Hell even within Japan I think, especially after the release of the Switch.
I mostly play PC games because I can't aim joysticks to save mine or my teammates lives. XD If I play any games that are portable it's been stuff like Ensemble Stars on my phone or Pokemon on DS or 2DS. I only want a Vita/PSP to be able to get some otome stuff...though I can't say I'd actually play it in public...Though if it's in Japanese the people around me wouldn't be able to read the screen anyway, lol!

noctisity (8 meses atrás) #29804411View spoilerHide spoilerMaybe within the next few years Otabek will be made since companies are starting to remember Yurio exists lol. (Or, you know, GSC could stop making alternative outfits for existing characters and make other characters instead lol.)
That sounds like a fun tournament to watch. Kind of reminds me of watching DDR competitions at arcades. And yeah, I'm not sure if Sony plans on making a new handheld anytime soon? So the price for the Vita kind of hasn't moved, but buying a used one isn't too bad. Really just depends on how much storage you want.
Oh no LOL. I feel like Monopoly is one of those games where everyone has a story which is why I thought it would be interesting as an anime lol.
By the way, happy birthday! :D

heroizumi (8 meses atrás) #29760036View spoilerHide spoilerI just really hope the GSC figures will be nice. And I hope they make an Otabek nendo and eventually a set of figures of Otabek and Yurio, lol! I'd love to have an Otabek on a motorcycle with Yurio hangin on. XDDD
Yeah, I have to agree that Japan does focus more on 1v1 stuff for tournaments. Japan is huge on fighting games, haha. I know I've seen some single player "tournaments" at my local game center too. It was a local gaming club (I think???) doing their Taiko no Tatsujin championship, haha. They had their members playing the same couple songs and seeing who had the best score (or something like that). I also agree about the Vita/PS4 thing though. I don't really want to get a Vita just to play Otome games since I already have a PS4, hahaha. Though I suppose getting a used one would be cheap. I'm pretty sure they're region free so getting one would be easy since no one in USA wants one, LOL!
I don't talk about Japanese people and Monopoly because my friend's 14 year old son completely destroyed me and another adult friend. I have too much shame. ;__;
